Dr. Bhattacharyya works with the bio-psycho-social-spiritual model in mind and enjoys forming long-term meaningful connections with her patients. She has a special interest in Women’s health.
She has vast experience in different roles in hospitals and outpatient settings for many years. She has a background in the field of biomedical research and brings this to her care of patients by using evidence-based medicine in practice. She enjoys working with compassion and sensitivity.

Education
Dr Bhattacharyya graduated from medical school in 2008 and worked at several hospitals in her home country India.
She came to the US in 2010 where she spent 4 years doing biomedical research at Rutgers University, NJ, and published a scientific paper.
She thereafter completed an Internship at Virginia Tech Carilion school of medicine and a residency in Psychiatry at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx, New York.
During residency, Dr Bhattacharyya took a keen interest in outpatient psychiatry, especially in women's health.
