Mr. Thuo APRN is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) with broad experience in delivering compassionate care.
He began his career many years ago as a psychiatric nurse working in a variety of settings including outpatient, inpatient and psychiatric ER caring for people in acute mental health crisis. Through his community work caring for people with mental illness in their homes and community via assertive community programs (PACT) teams, he has had the privilege of appreciating first hand, the impact of psychiatric illness on lives, homes and families of people with mental illness. Furthering his education, he graduated Summa Cum laude with a Masters in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner in Mental Health. He continues to provide service to his patients especially psychiatric evaluations, medication treatment and supportive therapy in this capacity. Mr. Thuo is friendly, professional and utilizes a biopsychosocial and holistic approach in assessments and treatment plans with hope to improve treatment outcomes, recovery, and overall wellness. He currently offers Saturday Morning appointments to accommodate the needs of working individuals and is looking forward to working with you! |
